Erica Lupinacci was diagnosed with Lupus at 18 and is dedicated to increasing representation and opportunities for chronically ill and disabled people - especially in the entertainment industry. Erica is the associate producer of the Emmy-Award winning New York Times Op-Doc, My Disability Roadmap. She is the co-producer of the upcoming feature-length version, The Ride Ahead.

Erica has spoken about life with chronic illness at Yale School of Nursing, Weill Cornell Medical College, Wonder Woman Tech Conference, and was a bi-monthly lupus blogger for WebMD. Erica is the co-founder of Suffering the Silence, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sharing the stories and providing support for the chronic illness & disability community.

Erica works as a producer in Los Angeles and co-created and produced the short docuseries, Trust Me, Iā€™m Sick, a 2021 Webby Award Honoree. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College, where she studied Public Health and Theatre.
